DevLog April 1st - 7th

Hello everyone.

It has been another exhausting week for us. I would like to bring news about our progress the last week as we keep approaching to our demo date.

Tile Set Expansion: Our development team has been hard at work expanding the visual depth of our game levels by adding new tile sets. These new sets not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also offer players a more immersive experience. However, we've encountered some challenges with Unity's limitations regarding sizes, which have impacted the performance of the tile sets. We're currently addressing these issues to ensure optimal gameplay.

UI Artistry: We'd like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the dedication and skill of our UI artist. Their efforts have significantly elevated the artistic quality of our game, making it visually captivating for players. The attention to detail and creativity showcased in the UI design truly enhances the overall gaming experience.

Card Design: Exciting news on the design front! We've finalized the design for our in-game cards and have commenced the creation process. These cards will play a crucial role in shaping the gameplay experience, adding strategic depth and complexity to the game mechanics. Stay tuned for updates as we bring these designs to life!

Combat Development: The long-awaited addition of basic combat mechanics is finally underway. With combat being a core aspect of gameplay, this marks a significant milestone in our development journey. As we work on implementing these features, we're steadily progressing towards the completion of our demo. Keep an eye out for further developments as we refine and polish the combat system.

That concludes this development log. We're excited about the progress we've made and the milestones we've reached. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to sharing more updates with you soon!
