DevLog - End of April


Hi everyone.

With the team has been quite intense weeks, as this project was a part of our Game Design Master's degree we also were busy in our last defense against evaluation court. It took us some time but now we are back on the track.

As for some news regarding the game, we have a good amount of them. As we can confirm the development of our level generation tool is certainly something will give the player different experiences when they are going to play our game. It also now offers some tile set variability (Something that we were working with IT team this month) and we have something that can deliver the experience needed.



As for other aspects, the design team is working in the storyboard as how the characters are going to be introduced in the game. Giving us context of the story of this little entomologist who adventures himself into this creepy and "buggy" world (Pun intended)


Also some creative process over the character is on track as you might see the appearance of the game character in the map and also in combat.


Speaking about combat we have refactored our Layout for it and we have a somewhat of final version as you can see this. The image is referential and we need to include it in our game.
